Mitali Mohan is a self-taught acrylic artist living in Calgary, Alberta, after moving to Canada from India in 2003. Her work is largely inspired by her experience living in the prairies, where she sees the beauty in both the natural landscape and the challenges she faces there. Beyond being a pharmacist, her passion for painting led her to build her artistic skills in her personal time. The abstract beauty of her art prompts viewers to look inside themselves for meaning and interpretation, something Mitali strives for in each piece. Whether one finds themselves mesmerized by the flood of colors or enraptured by the beauty her brush is able to capture, her paintings find their way into the heart and soul of her viewers.
